Description

The cartouched door frame mounted with acanthus and ornate floral motifs enclosing two glass shelves and a mirrored back flanked by two smaller glaze panels, ormolu casts and a cartouche frame mounted below, with shaped cabriole legs on ormolu mounts; by Parisian firm Grimard, the reverse of the ormolu mount at the top of the door stamped '[G]RIMA[RD]' and the reverse of the case stamped '12397E' twice.
