These beautiful Baccarat vases are crafted from opaline glass. The vases are of traditional form, each with a bulbous body above a splayed foot, rising into a waisted neck and a flared rim. The rim and the stepped circular foot of each are gilt, while the milky-white ground of the bodies and necks of the vases are delicately painted with an abundance of flowers: blossoms of all kinds and colours proliferate, with shades of pink, green, red, and purple predominating.
