Pair of cut glass and gilt metal Rococo style wall lights

This fine pair of wall lights is crafted from gilt metal and cut glass in the Rococo style. Each wall light features a shaped gilt metal backplate moulded with acanthus leaf detailing. The backplate of each issues twin S-scroll light branches, each of which terminates in an integral candle holder and drip pan. The light branches are adorned with cut glass pendants and ribbons of cut glass beads, which beautifully catch and refract the issued light.
