These excellent pieces are a pair of glass cornucopia vases, made in France in the early twentieth century, and mounted and adorned with a silver-plate base. Featuring slightly different tones of glass, they consist of a base mount, with an off-set main glass body, which opens up in a cornucopia shape with a series of leaves blossoming around the rim.
Their bodies are moulded with panels around the centre, and they finish in a pair of small spouts, mounted upon an upside-down tearshape element atop the metal bases. With a simple yet elegant and uncluttered design, they are fine works of the early modern, and beautiful embellishments to any interior space.
