Pair of large French glass, ormolu and marble pedestals

This pair of pedestals are superbly made from an intriguing array of materials. Marble, ormolu, and coloured glass are expertly used to form each of the pedestals. The rectangular, flat tops executed from richly veined green marble, create a surface perfect for the display of other decorative objects of choice.

An ormolu Corinthian column capital supports the marble top. Below, superbly finished, blue and white glass fluted columns are framed to the centre by ormolu detailing. A stepped square base, made from green marble and ormolu stands atop four bun feet. Acanthus frieze separates the two materials, creating a visually interesting design.
