This fine pair of large giltwood mirrors is crafted in the ornate Rococo style. Each mirror features a giltwood frame richly carved with scrolling, wrapping acanthus leaves. The crest of each mirror is centred with a medallion crown flanked by two putti grasping dragons' heads. Birds and dolphins are interspersed among the scrolling leaves, giving the pair of mirrors a decidedly Baroque character.
