Pair of large white marble campana form garden vases

These fine pieces are a pair of antique garden vases, or urns, carved from white marble, and executed in the familiar Campana or Medici vase style.

Made in continental Europe in the late ninetenth century, they stand approximately 65cm with minor deviation. They have small square bases, thin stems, and wide central bodies, with a band of gadrooning towards the base.

Exceptionally grand pieces, that have kept their fine finish and style for all of their history, and bear themselves, and the garden space in which they are placed, with fine Classical presence and grandeur.
