The three-branch wall lights in this pair are crafted from ormolu in the Rococo style that dominated art and design during the reign of Louis XV. Each wall light features a long backplate moulded with high-relief acanthus leaf forms. The backplate of each issues three scrolling branches, each branch richly moulded with acanthus leaf motifs. Each branch terminates in an ormolu foliate candle holder above an ormolu drip pan.
