Pair of Neoclassical style silvered bronze wall lights

The wall lights are crafted from silvered bronze in the Neoclassical style. Each wall light features an ornately moulded and chased central stem, finished throughout with elegant Neoclassical style detailing. The stem supports the springing of three branches, each S-scroll branch moulded with acanthus leaf forms and terminating in a silvered bronze candleholder and drip pan. The central stem of each wall light is suspended from a wonderfully formed S-scroll bracket, again moulded with acanthus leaf detailing. This bracket is affixed to the wall with a mount adorned with a scallop shell motif and a lion’s head mask.
