The table lamps are of matching design. They stand on malachite triform bases which are set on ormolu (gilt bronze) toupie feet. The bases are decorated with ormolu mounts in the form of patterned draperies and their tops are surmounted by sculptural ormolu coiled serpents.
Each lamp features a spherical malachite body which is supported on three ormolu legs. Designed like term sculptures, the legs' tops are shaped like nude cherubs and their middles like tapered pillars which terminate in hoof feet. The lamps’ malachite bodies are mounted with foliate ormolu panels, as well as decorative ormolu bands which are draped with chains. Their slightly pointed tops are crowned by ormolu foliage and light fixtures.
