Description

These superb items of Judaica are a highly decorative and ornate pair of Torah finials, made in London in the early twentieth century by a leading silversmith and metalworker specialising in Jewish items

Surmounted with stars of David above domed and pierced crowns, they feature silver-gilt embellishments and friezes of roses and bells above an embossed silver structure, with a series of florally embossed wide-points and bands.

They are hallmarked M.S, for Moses Salkind of London, and dated 1925. Exceptionally bright, elegant, and intricate, they will be of interest both to those with an interest in Judaica and fine antique silverware in general.
