Description

A cruet is a small container or set of containers for use at a dining table, typically designed to contain salt, pepper, oils, and vinegars. The present silver cruet features a square base with chamfered corners raised on four claw-on-ball feet, above of which is a recessed openwork gallery and a series of holders for bottles, as well as a large, looped silver handle. The cruet includes four decanters, all crafted from ornately cut glass and each surmounted by a cut glass stopper.

The silver is fully hallmarked.
