Description

This superb set of silver plates was crafted by Franciscus Kozlowsky (1761-1847), a Danish goldsmith and silversmith.

All 15 plates are of a very refined and elegant design. Each plate features a lobed profiled border and is engraved with three crests, possibly those of the families they were crafted for.

The reverse is stamped with the maker’s mark as well as other hallmarks, including one for Copenhagen 1807. The plates are also pricked, informing of the weight.

Showcasing the work of a Danish silversmith, this set of plates would be a wonderful addition to one’s collection of silver.

Together all pieces weigh approximately 8,400 grammes.
