This superb seating set comprises eight elegantly and uniformly carved chairs, made in England in the Late Victorian period. Carved of dark hardwood, with a small wicker net across the seat, they are superbly designed and executed works.
Simple yet effective in their design, they demonstrate suitable Victorian restraint, while indulging in small elements of flair with regards to hints of great Neoclassical design, such as the fine geometry of their construction, and the Ionic scrolls that mount the backs of the pieces. They come with small, fitted cushions, and will make an excellent seating set for any suitable interior or space.
