The spoons in this set are very distinctive, both stylistically and materially. Each spoon features a handle carved from coral—no two handles the same in terms of curving shape or vibrant marbling. The end of each handle is affixed with a silver mount, while the bowl of each spoon is wrought from solid silver.
The silver of each is marked in Chinese script, and the fitted case is inscribed ‘Coral / Ramsés’ to the inside cover.
