Set of four William IV period rosewood nesting side tables

This beautiful set of four English rosewood side tables includes pieces of four different sizes, all designed to be able to stack on top of one another.
Each of the four tables in this set is crafted from rosewood. Each table has a rectangular shaped top with a moulded edge set above twin pairs of turned legs, each pair of legs terminating in scrolled feet designed with acanthus leaf carvings. The pairs of legs are joined by a turned rosewood stretcher. The tables are of four different sizes and have been built to stack on top of each other. The second largest of the tables features a chequer board top.
