Description

This vibrant, modern vase is made from a selection of luxurious materials and is attributed to Asprey, a renowned British firm of goldsmiths, silversmiths as well as jewellers who produce pieces for an elite clientele.

The vase bowl is carefully and expertly carved from a vibrant, ultramarine lapis lazuli. The semi-precious stone is of a conical shape and its surface is speckled with naturally occurring cream and white patterns. The rich blue vase sits in an elegant silver-gilt stem shaped base. A single strip of silver gilt surrounds the vase’s circumference from which three further strips on each side run to the base. This creates a beautiful contrast of colours and textures.

Lapis lazuli is known as the stone of wisdom, adding another meaningful and interesting feature this this beautiful piece.

The goblet shaped vase is an example of the highest quality craftsmanship executed by some of the most skilled makers. The combination of two very luxurious materials makes this vase a magnificent home décor piece, one which is sure to add elegance and sophistication to any space.
