This charming desk set of clock and barometer is a wonderful piece of Victorian design and would make an ideal gift for a lover of all things nautical.
The clock and barometer in this pair are crafted from ormolu in a wonderful Victorian nautical manner. Each piece is modelled as a ship’s wheel, centred with a silvered dial, and surrounded by an ormolu frame set with banded agate handles. Each piece is set atop an oval ormolu base edged with rope pattern moulding.
One with retailer's plaque engraved "Woodcock of Llandudno" and the other inscribed "Howell James & Co, Regent Street".
