Each wall light features an ormolu (gilt bronze) body composed of scrolling foliage, which terminates in a trail of flowers. The curling leaves envelop patinated bronze, half-length putti figures, who are depicted semi-nude and with tightly-curled hair. One pair of the lights feature putti who turn to the right, while the putti in the second pair gaze to the left. This means the wall lights will look perfect placed with on either side a key feature, such as a mirror or doorway, for instance. Each putto holds a pair of organically curling ormolu branches, which form leafy stylised drip-pans and capitals, fitted with candle-tubes.
