The vitrine is crafted from satinwood, ormolu, and glass in the Neoclassical Louis XVI style. The cabinet features a large central glazed bay flanked by twin curved and glazed side doors. The structure of the cabinet is articulated architecturally, with the four prominent uprights modelled as pilasters and the top reminiscent of an entablature with overhanging cornice. The cabinet contains three shelves, and its interior is lined with fine green velvet. The vitrine, raised on four turned and fluted legs, is adorned throughout with fine Neoclassical style ormolu mounts.
