Description

In the Louis XVI style, in the manner of Adam Weisweiler (French, 1744-1820)

With circular fluorspar top above a pierced ormolu frieze of foliate interlacing, resting on three feet designed as caryatids holding flower baskets on their heads, the feet linked by a rosace stretcher, stamped multiple times on the inside of the circular rim frame and the stretcher 'ZJ' and numbered '1676', '1678' and '1688'.
