The ormolu (gilt bronze) floor lamp stands on three legs which are set on a triform base. The legs are edged with stylised foliage and terminate in geometric scrolled feet. At the centre of the base, there stands a single light stem which is shaped like a classical torch and topped by a glass flame shade. The tops of the legs are decorated with pinecone finials and drapery swags, and they are surmounted by sculptures of seated putti figures holding flower baskets above their heads. A second light, with a flower shaped glass shade, is positioned between the three putti. The baskets that the putti hold contain tole and porcelain flowers, as well as three stems which support the main lamp shade. This shade is composed of tiny flower-shaped glass pendants and beads.
