Description

The columnar pedestal features a stepped marble base, raised by four ormolu feet. The base supports the porcelain shaft of the pedestal, which is mounted with a moulded ormolu torus below and an ormolu capital above. The cobalt blue surface of the porcelain shaft is finely parcel gilt with tooled foliate motifs. The column is surmounted by a square marble plateau.

The pedestal can be paired with a conforming Napoleonic porcelain vase, which can be found here.
