Edwardian

After the stuffy darkness of Victorian design, the early 20th Century English Edwardian style embraced a lightness of form and decoration. Bamboo and wicker furniture became popular in less formal rooms such as conservatories, and fresh, light floral patterns in pastel colours typified Edwardian upholstery and wallpaper.
